中之条の写真 Photograph of the Work in Nakanojo

中之条ビエンナーレ2019の作品集が今春に完成。表紙の鳥越さんの作品は圧巻だったなあ。美しい本です。
ほぼ同時に、この作品集に使用されているものを含めたたくさんの作品写真を事務局からいただいて、久々に見返した。当時けっこう限界を感じてしんどかったけど、記憶より良く、嬉しい。どうもありがとうございました。早速、Webサイトのヘッダーなどにも反映。加えて、この時やっていたことと直近の作品の間あたりをやってみようという、方針の再確認の機会にもなりました。

The catalog for Nakanojo Biennale 2019 was finally published this spring. I remember that Mr. Torigoe’s work appearing on the cover of the book was wonderful. Check out this beautiful book on the official website.

Almost at the same time, I received a lot of photographs of my artwork from the exhibition office, including those used in the catalogue. During the production, I felt I was at my limit of my ability, but looking back on this book, I was relieved that my work was not so bad. I’d like to thank everyone involved.

I added these pictures to the header image of this website. Also, they helped to confirm the direction of the ongoing painting production. I will try something between the work in Nakanojo and the recent work such as the one exhibited in the Haruhi Triennale.
